    Moment distributions have a vital role in mathematics and statistics, in particular in probability theory, in the perspective research related to ecology, reliability, biomedical field, econometrics, survey sampling and in life-testing. Hasnain (2013) developed an exponentiated moment exponential (EME) distribution and discussed some of its important properties. In the present work, we propose a generalization of EME distribution which we call it generalized EME (GEME) distribution and develop various properties of the distribution. We also present characterizations of the distribution in terms of conditional expectation as well as based on hazard function of the GEME random variable

    In the last few years, most of the data such as books, videos, pictures, medical and even the genetic information of humans are moving toward digital formats. Laptops, tablets, smartphones and wearable devices are the major source of this digital data transformation and are becoming the core part of our daily life. As a result of this transformation, we are becoming the soft target of various types of cybercrimes. Digital forensic investigation provides the way to recover lost or purposefully deleted or hidden files from a suspect’s device. However, current man power and government resources are not enough to investigate the cybercrimes. Unfortunately, existing digital investigation procedures and practices require huge interaction with humans; as a result it slows down the process with the pace digital crimes are committed. Machine learning (ML) is the branch of science that has governs from the field of AI. This advance technology uses the explicit programming to depict the human-like behaviour. Machine learning combined with automation in digital investigation process at different stages of investigation has significant potential to aid digital investigators. This chapter aims at providing the research in machine learning-based digital forensic investigation, identifies the gaps, addresses the challenges and open issues in this field

    ABSTRAK Masalah utama penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana langkah-langkah pembelajaran Seni Budaya (Teater) dengan menggunakan media audio visual dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Mia 1 SMAN 1 Majene, dan Bagaimana hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Mia 1 SMAN 1 Majene pada mata pelajaran Seni Budaya setelah penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran olah mimik diaplikasikan. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang bertujuan untuk meningkakan hasil belajar siswa melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Penggunaan Media Audio Visual Kelas XI Mia 1 SMA Negeri 1 Majene, Kabupaten Majene. Sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, maka subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Siswa Kelas XI Mia 1 SMA Negeri 1 Majene, yang terdiri dari 22 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan proses penelitian (a). Merencanakan tindakan, (b). Melaksanakan tindakan pada siklus I dan siklus II, (c). Mengadakan penelitian/pengamatan selama berlangsungnya siklus I dan siklus II, (d). Mengadakan evaluasi akhir tahap siklus, (e). Menganalisis data hasil evaluasi dan hasil pengamatan, (f). Mengadakan refleksi berdasarkan hasil analisis dan tanggapan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu: (1) langkah langkah pembelajaran pada siklus satu dan dua setelah menerapkan metode penggunaan media audio visual manunjukkan adanya perubahan peningkatan ke hal yang lebih baik yang terjadi pada aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan hasil observasi. (2)Hasil belajar seni budaya siswa pada siklus pertama berada pada ketegori dengan skor sangat rendah 23 persen,Skor rendah 9 persen, skor sedang 54 persen, skor tinggi 14 persen dan skor sangat tinggi 0 persen. Hasil belajar seni budaya siswa pada siklus kedua berada pada kategori dengan skor sangat rendah 0 persen,skor randah 0 persen, Skor sedang 40 persen skor tinggi 56 persen dan skor sangat tinggi 4 persen

    Relationship of working capital management and profitability of the firms - an application of unit root and co-integration test on the various corporate sectors of Pakistan stock exchange

    The main purpose of this research is to find the impact and the long-run relationship of working capital, and profitability in different major sectors of Pakistan stock exchange; for this purpose eight sectors with 95 listed companies selected that can be representative of the Pakistani mindset and practices of the corporate world. For this reason, ROA used as the dependent variable and CCC, CR, QR, WCT ART, APD, ROCE, DR to check the long-run relationship with Firm Performance. OLS is not possible due to the trend in data. In this research unit root test and Penal Co-integration test used for finding the long-run relationship equilibrium. This research paper provides guidelines to corporate practitioners and academia to understand and focus on working capital to improve profitability in the organization. Findings revealed that different sectors have different characteristics of working capital in the long-run equilibrium. This research intends to give future direction for the researcher to develop theories of liquidity and working capital

    Outcome in Surgically Treated Patients with Dorsal and Dorsolumbar Spinal Tuberculosis: A Retrospective Study of 40 Cases

    Objective:  To determine the influence of disease severity and surgical treatment in patients with dorsal and dorsolumbar spinal tuberculosis with severe neurological deficit. Methods:  In this retrospective study (2005 – 2009) medical records of all patients with dorsal and dorsolumbar spinal tuberculosis treated surgically by Zafar Iqbal were analyzed. The clinical features, disease severity, operative procedures and outcome and factors affecting outcome were analyzed. Results:  A total of 42 patients with dorsal and dorsolumbar spinal tuberculosis with severe neurological deficit were treated surgically during this period. Two patients had follow-up of less than 3 months and were excluded from this study. Their age ranged from 18 to 65 years, with a mean age of 31 years. Male to female ratio was 3:2. Presenting symptoms were local pain in 34 (85%), radicular pain in 5 (12.5%),  Conclusion:  This study indicates that a significant proportion of patients with spinal tuberculosis and severe motor deficits get remarkable improvement after surgical decompression and hence should undergo surgery even though they may be suffering from paraplegia of considerable duration. We found that age less than 50 years, radical surgery and spasticity are favourable prognostic factors

    Total Quality Management A Recommended Strategy For The Pakistani Banking Sector

    Keeping in view the significance of TQM in todays competitive banking environment, the study was designed to look into the quality implementation level of commercial banks in Pakistan. Main offices of all commercial banks operating in Pakistan were contacted and were asked about the level of implementation of TQM in their bank; whether the quality implementation is at its introductory, middle, final or fully implemented stage. The data indicated that majority of the banks in Pakistan are at the introductory stage where as almost one fifth claim having TQM fully implemented. The situation highlights the level of effort put by management of banks operating in Pakistan and initiatives taken by them in respect of quality management. The findings of the study may be passed on to Central Bank for further necessary action and follow up

    Partnership program and community development (PKBL) is a community service undertaken by state-owned companies and one of the state-owned company is Perum Peruri. Partnership program is an effort undertaken by PKBL Perum Peruri to help small and medium enterprises (UKM) belong to the community so that small businesses tersebuh more developed with the partnership program from PKBL Perum Peruri. PKBL Perum Peruri annually has determined which provinces will be held the selection of small and medium enterprises (UKM). However, many constraints occur during the partnership process. Because in processing data and information needed by PKBL can not be done quickly from start recording of proposal entry, administration proposal, evaluation, survey until establishment of partners. So that required application that can handle the constraints that occur in the unit PKBL, in the management of partnership program. Seeing the problem then came the idea to build "Application Program Partnership and Community Development (PKBL) Web-Based SOE Partnership Program Case study: Peruri". The method used to build this application is waterfall method. The selection of waterfall method is because the stages of workmanship is clear and structured so that it is easy to be understood in this application workmanship. With this method also the application can be well documented. The language used is PHP with the codeIgneigniter framework, and the editor used is Sublime Text and Notped ++. The database used is MySQL. Users of the app are all employees of Perum Peruri PKBL and UKM.
